It's been a long time since I last posted, and a lot has gone on in my life.
- My youngest got married....
- I'm anticipating retirement in the next year or so..
- Assisting a family member in their TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) recovery
- Praise God! Their recovery has been a miracle!
- Teaching quilting classes, which I love!
- Welcoming 4 grand-kids into the family
- 3 boys (including a set of identical twin boys!)
- and FINALLY a 2nd little girl! (Time to pull out the smocking and heirloom sewing again)
I am now a grandparent to 5!
I've been seriously honing my sewing skills (garment and quilting). Now that JoAnn's Fabric is gone, I've had to focus on my fabric stash, which is a good thing.
I've been spending the last couple of weeks with the newest grandchild. I made a stop at a couple of quilt shops for fabric. I found a couple of pieces that would make excellent yoked dresses for my little one. This is the Bernatex Robo Boogie Line:

My plan is to make a romper and dress using Chery Williams Basic Square Yoke Dress Pattern.
I may include some smocking in the yoke (gotta go thru my smocking patterns first).
